St Leonard’s is a small church school situated in the small village of Dunston. The school was built in 1862 and has had several extensions over the years. The school comprises of four classrooms ranging from Reception to Year 4. We also offer a breakfast club and a wide range of after school activities. The school prides itself that it is very much part of the community and links with the church are strong. The school draws from a wide catchment area and all are welcome. We have excellent links and work closely with Penkridge and Brewood Middle schools to ensure continuity of education for all our children.
At St. Leonard’s we are very proud of all we have to offer our pupils; we expect our children to achieve a high standard across all areas of the curriculum. The school has a strong Christian ethos, although understanding and tolerance of other religions are taught. Added to this we have a commitment to developing the whole child. In February 2014 our last Ofsted inspection judged the school to be ‘Good’.
We welcome you to come and have a look around and see what makes us special.
